Read your story in Extraordinary Canadians. You are a true warrior, and it’s wonderful to see you so healthy and doing well, living life!

I’m a 71 year old woman who was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 45 years, and have kept it in remission through diet (Elaine Gottchal’s book, Breaking The Vicious Cycle), although I still have fatigue sometimes. I am also very grateful to be where I am now, and this gratitude is something o feel every day, as I imagine you feel as well. Especially, the tortuous painful childhood you had.

You’re an inspiration for many people!
    Adele
