What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas?

Ok, nothing too wild or crazy happened there so I guess I can tell ya allll about it!

This mini vacay was my mother and I’s chance to catch up. Despite being super sick for the first day there [major stomach issues, don’t know where theyyy came from] and the smoke in every room, every building, everywhere that bothered my throat, I had a great time.

We tanned pretty much all day everyday when we weren’t shopping or ordering delicious meals! We also saw a show and did some gambling! Well… Mom did…

Me, being the money saver that I am, only bet a total of $6 in the casino.

$5 were given to me free by the hotel. $1 dollar was my own.

I lost it all and called it quits.

Ok, so I didn’t quite get into the whole Vegas gambling scene, but I did enjoy the entertainment aspect! Ok, get your head out of the gutter, I meant the performances! Mom bought us tickets to see Cirque du Soliel’s “Love” which was a show based around songs by the Beatles. It was amazing.

Another highlight of my trip was that we happened to coordinate perfectly to meet up with Alison and her family to have dinner with them.

For those of you who don’t remember Alison, she is the girl who had surgery after I spoke to her father about it. The family was hesitant, but when they saw how well I was doing, they gave it a shot. She ended up having surgery and becoming healthy again! She also took photos just like mine.

We met up with Alison and her family and had a wonderful dinner with great company!

Other than thattt, we really didn’t do much. It was just a chance for mom and I to spend some quality girl time together that we haven’t had in a while. I had tons of fun and I hope she did too :]

Love you mom
