Look Ma, I’m on TV

Ok so it’s nothing too exciting butttt today, Monday June 7th, at both 5pm and 7pm I will be on CP24 live talking about Crohn’s and Colitis.

At 5 I think I’m doing a quick little thing, nothing too exciting on their news show. At 7 though, I’ll be sitting in on a medical talk show to give the patient’s side of view on things for an hour with Dr. Hillary Steinhart.

I don’t know very much about it right now. I’m going to have to show up and wing it. Live. Cool…

You can get the channel in Toronto and its surrounding areas like Woodstock, Guelph, and London.

So yeah, tune in and watch me!

..Live…

PS, I’m not talking about Uncover Ostomy… but I’ll see if I can sneak it in 😉

Your openness about your life with IBD is inspiring. I’ve had Ulcerative colitis for 15 year and have not met a person in "real" life with any form of IBD. Sometimes I feel a bit alone, so seeing this blog makes me feel less abnormal. Thanks for making this blog.

I saw your interview on CP24 tonight. You did a great job in giving us insight on life with an ostomy.
You showed the viewers that you can lead a ‘normal’ life while preventing the Crohns and its results take over your life.

You are a beautiful strong spirited woman.

    All the best!

I’m catching the repeat broadcast, and i have to say that i’m very impressed with your courage and your candour in sharing your story with the world. I’ve had a few friends and colleagues afflicted with Crohn’s, so i’ve seen (but not experienced) the pain, but have also seen them fighting their way through it and living their lives.

I wish you all the best with your health, happiness and your new career! You’re a beautiful, intelligent and well-spoken person with a lot to offer the world.
