02 Nov So. I’m Still Alive.
Just to prove my mom wrong, I didn’t die from H1N1.
I’m back in London, trying to get back into the swing of school and trying to catch up on all the homework I missed. Tons of fun.
Lucky for me, all my upcoming assignments are pretty spread out among each other. Maybe I wont get so stressed out this month. This is going to be a good month. I can tell.
This month is especially awesome because it’s the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada’s Gut Gutsy month aimed at spreading awareness about Crohn’s and Colitis. More information can be found here [my hyperlink button isn’t workingggg]

For those who don’t know this, the reason I had to get my ostomy was because of a long battle with Crohn’s Disease. My family has been very involved in this charity since I was about 9 years old. My mother was on the CCFC Toronto chapter council for a number of years and was president for one year. My late father was the news letter editor as well a public speaker, with me, as we both spoke at many CCFC galas and on the media. Still today, my brother, and I and even more so my mother, are avid volunteers for this charity. Make sure to spread the word about this too :]
Happy get gutsy month!
