I have written and erased my opening sentence 3 times now.

What do I say? I’ve never had to do this before.

The campaign launched today and I’ve already had 8 facebook messages and 24 friend requests.

I was told by someone on twitter that I was their “ostomy hero.”

 

Weird.

 

I guess I never really thought of what actually could come of my idea. What the results would be- what people’s reactions would be.

So far so good.

Well, just so you know, this blog is my blog. I get to update it with whatever I want about whatever I want. So I will. It may be about my ostomy, ostomies in general, but mostly, it’s just going to be about my life.

I’ve been told my life’s pretty interesting. Sometimes I wish it weren’t. Either way, I hope I can give you a good read while showing that having a ostomy doesn’t make me different than anyone else.[Maybe slightly cooler… haha]

Anyways, I just got home from work and have a million and 1 homework assignments, essays, and readings to do so I better get to it.
