So I watched this video,

hoping to hear about all the wonderful things this new iPad technology does and maybe finally be enlightened into the wonderful world of the Mac side.

Nope.

Seriously, what does the iPad do?

It lets you write emails, yes, it lets you sort pictures, yes, it has a calendar, yes, internet yes…

So?

It looks just like a giant iPhone except it’s less useful because you can’tmake phonecalls with it. Not to mention it’s way bigger too.

Someone, please, tell me what’s so great about this giant metal feminie hygiene product?

    i am waiting to see if jobs will make a gigantic mac book.
    that will be a fun thing to see.
    i mean the iPad is just a big iphone :/

    I think this is just the beginning of what is to come from apple, although just like what they have done with iPhone and iPod, they are with holding lots more features for future models

    Ok, so yeah, it is like a giant ipod touch, however it also contains the full iWorks suite as well. iWorks is the mac equivalent to Microsoft Office. iWork can also read microsoft office files. The other big thing is that it also is created to be a replacement for books. Apple doesn’t want it known as an ebook reader because it is so much more, but it is a big part of it. They want to replace books as well as text books with this thing. Clint was right as well. They are holding lots of features for future models as well but they will be introducing a lot of cool new features through software updates too. Though it didn’t seam to match up too all the buz in the media I do believe that it is still going to end up being pretty big…if not right away…then eventually…..that and because of the cost compared to what it can do…..other manufactures can’t compete with it’s abilities when compared to it’s cost…not yet anyways…be prepared to see a lot of similar or better things then the ipad for the same price throughout the rest of the year. Apple pretty much set the bar for this particular item whether people agree or not. Oh yeah….i’m an apple junky. I’m typing this on my macbook while I download fart apps on my iphone. Word.
